Austin O'Brien

Austin was recently starring in the CBS series Promised Land as 'Josh Green'. A veteran of more than 24 commercials, Austin made his feature debut in the thriller Lawnmower Man followed by starring roles in Prehysteria, Last Action Hero and My Girl II, The Babysitters Club and Lawnmower Man II - Jobe's War. In December, Austin hosted the video NO Apologies...The Truth About Life, Love and Family and in his off days, he is working on the film Only Once, which will finish shooting in March.

Born in Eugene Oregon on May 11, 1981, Austin is an avid fan of biking, baseball and music.  His tastes range from Michael W. Smith to alternative.  Austin plays the piano, keyboards, acoustic and electric guitars, and has been composing and writing lyrics for the past three years.  His group 'Narrow Gate' has disbanded and he is in the process of forming a new group.  Now he often plays with his brother Trever - a guitarist and drummer, and sister - vocalist and pianist, jamming composing and performing.

Currently, Austin is a freshman in college.  His favorite subjects are music, physics, literature and philosophy.  His future aspirations include possible careers as an actor, composer, musician, vocalist, astronaut and director.

Austin lives at home with his mom and dad, and fellow thespians - Amanda and Trever, who also double as sister and brother, three dogs - Bogie, Mela and Romania and three cats - Cleo, Sasquatch and Puck.
